However, that did not resolved the issue. As soon as we received the power cord, my husband called the technician, and they both spent hours trying to fixed the problem. Finally one representative told my husband that the problem was with the power cord. Some of the representatives were very rude and disrespectful, they even hanged up the phone on me. I sent these items multiple times, but every time I called they repeated the same requests. This include the receipt, my address, and the serial number from the box. They gave my husband and I a difficult time by requesting the same items multiple times. Eventually it stop working, I contacted NightOwl warranty department around May 30th. It stared to go off and on every three to five minutes. Approximately, six-eight weeks later the camera started to malfunction. It also has a one year manufacture warranty. To Whom It May ********** March 16, 2023, I purchased a NightOwl Security Camera System CCTV, 8 Channel Bluetooth DVR with ITB Hard Drive, 4 wired ****p HD Spotlight Surveillance Bullet Camera, Audio Enabled Indoor/Outdoor Cameras with Night Vision from ******* for a total price of $240.61. They should stand by their products and help the customers out instead of running them away and being hateful. I was treated like total trash by their support staff and would just like them to fix what their company messed up at factory level. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I used to like and would recommend all of my family and friends to get Night Owl products. I finally called back again last Friday 6-23-23 and the rep i talk to told me the same thing that i must have done something wrong and that i was out of luck and will need to get online and buy a replacement ***. The employee proceeded to tell me that i'm out of luck and I'll need to spend another $350 to replace the *** and they wouldn't help me anymore from there. They told me the same thing that i messed something up and that my unit was out of warranty. We somehow got disconnected and I called back and got a different person. I've set up multiple Night Owl Systems, so I knew the process and that's why I went with them. 2 weeks later and I never got an email, so I called to physically talk to a person on the phone and the person I talked to first was very hateful telling me I messed up the registration process. I chatted with 4 different reps and not a single one could give me an answer on how to help and said they would send it up to higher support and I would get an email with the right steps to take to either get the issue resolved or a new unit. I instantly got on the live chat with Night Owl support. When it finally got to the step to register the device to my account, it said that it was already registered to another account. I pulled the unit out of a factory sealed box and started the set up process. At the end of May of this year we finally got internet. I didn't have internet at the time because we live in a rural area in ********, but I bought it to have it ready for when we did get internet and while I had the funds to spend on one. Around November 2022 I spent over $300 on a Night Owl wired security system ***-VDP2-81-VT3.
